Conference Registration: $300 (includes welcome reception, lunches on July 25th and 26th, snacks and drinks for session breaks, and concluding conference dinner).

Conference Theme: “Popular Culture At and Across Borders: The Hemispheric and Global Flows of Popular Culture.” This theme can be interpreted widely and liberally. Proposals on all areas and types of popular culture are invited, especially topics on Costa Rica and Central America. Send proposals or inquiries to Doug Noverr (noverr@msu.edu), the conference organizer and coordinator. Proposals for panels are also welcomed.
Deadline for Proposals: April 25, 2011. Proposals will be evaluated and accepted soon after their submission.
