Audio-Visual Equipment
The Audio-Visual equipment that we will have available in every conference room:
- Large projection screen
- Data projector, with connection cables for the provided DVD player and for your own laptop computer.
- DVD Player
- BRING YOUR OWN PC laptop/notebook with PowerPoint installed (or other software) for presentations.
- Be sure to test your files before coming to the conference.
- MAC users will need to bring their laptops and a special adapter. You can order one for about $19 at Apple.com (http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9320G/A) or find them at Best Buy and other locations.
- At your own expense, you may make arrangements with the hotel for any special audio-visual equipment that the PCA/ACA does not supply (but be advised that equipment rental is costly).
In addition, most VHS tapes, slide presentations, and other video presentations can be transferred to DVD, either for a fee or, sometimes, through your school’s AV/IT departments for free. You may want to consider this option as well.
