For Area Exhibitors

Welcome Exhibitors and Advertisers!

You are invited to display at the 2009 PCA/ACA National Conference held April 8 through 11, 2009, at the New Orleans Marriott, 555 Canal St, New Orleans, Lousiana 70130.

And presses and publishers are invited to advertise in the PCA/ACA Conference Program distributed to all conference attendees..

The Popular Culture and American Culture Associations have held annual national meetings for over 30 years at locations around the U.S. and Canada.  Subject areas are broad and many, encompassing business, entertainment, fashion, gender, the body, ethnography, technology, science fiction, and more. Political, historical, literary—essentially all approaches are welcomed.  All our subject areas and area chairs are listed on the following page of our website: http://www.pcaaca.org/areas/areas.php .

We send letters of invitation to hundreds of colleges and universities up and down the Gulf Coast as well as throughout the South, so we expect thousands of scholars and enthusiasts will visit our conference and your exhibits.

The exhibitors’ displays will be located in Exhibit Hall on the second floor, near our registration booth and across from La Galeries Conference rooms, so exhibits should get lots of traffic. Vew this hotel at the Marriott’s website: New Orleans Marriott

Booths are comprised of two 8-foot tables with draping, chairs, and an ID sign (electricity available as needed), all set-up by Freeman Design, with whom we have worked for years.  Once a booth is purchased, exhibitors may add as many tables as room space allows. Freeman will soon provide us with an on-line site link that will list additional services and display options to consider; I will pass that site address along to you.

Watch for an Exhibitors/Advertisers Quick Facts Sheet to be placed here in Fall 2008.

And I (Delores Rauscher, Program Coordinator) will later send a floor layout with table locations and the shipping address to all registered exhibitors. If you are interested or have questions, please contact me at rausche5@msu.edu .

We would love to have you join us—again or for the first time!
