Working Class Studies

The Working Class Studies area accepts submissions on representations of the working class in all areas of popular culture. Possible topics and issues might include the working poor, the digital divide, blue collar and middle class designations, immigration and ethnicity. Cross-cultural examinations of working class culture and studies of working class culture in a global society are also welcome. Interested individuals should submit an abstract of no more than 200 words and complete contact information (name, institutional affiliation, mail and e-mail addresses, and contact telephone number) by December 15 via mail or email to:
