Call for Papers
2009 PCA/ACA
Wednesday-Saturday, April 8-11, 2009

New Orleans Marriott
New Orleans, Louisiana

The PCA/ACA Music Area invites submissions from individuals or organized panels (3 or 4 persons) focusing on any topic relating to any genre of music. Topics can include but are not limited to individual artists, albums, CDs, genres, periods, performances, critics, magazines, music and art, music on radio, television, and on stage and in academia.  Abstracts on any topic of music will be considered.

Individual abstracts and complete panels of three and four will be welcomed. 

For individual submissions, please include name, affiliation, address, and e-mail address along with the title of the paper, a 150-250 word abstract, and a brief cv.

For panel submissions, please include all the above along with a title of the panel and a 50 word summary of the panel’s focus.

Please specify any special scheduling needs.

All submissions must be received by November 30, 2008.

Because of large attendance expected at the conference, each person may participate in only one panel.

All participants must be members of ACA or PCA and must preregister for the conference by January 1, 2009. For membership information, visit <http://www.pcaaca.org>.  Please note that April 12 is Easter.
