DEADLINE: DECEMBER 15, 2011
We are considering proposals for sessions organized around a theme, special panels, and/or individual papers. Sessions are scheduled in 1½ hour slots, typically with four papers or speakers per standard session. As always, proposals addressing any topic at the intersection of popular culture and queerness are welcome.
This year, we are especially eager to receive proposals concerning the intersection of queer and BDSM studies across disciplines and in terms of coming out as "kink" and/or advocacies for persons on campus (faculty and students) who identify as part of the BDSM community. Papers addressing issues of representation and constructions of gender and sexual identities and their intersections with the LGBTQ and BDSM communities are welcome.
Should you or any of your colleagues be interested in submitting a proposal or have any questions, please contact:
