ELECTIONS
The Bylaws of the PCA/ACA call for elections at the national conference each year. To that end, the President of the PCA/ACA selects a committee of three people to produce a slate of candidates for the PCA/ACA Board, the Vice President of Area Chairs and the Vice President of Awards. This slate of nominees is then presented to the membership for an up or down vote with write-in votes possible.
Every two years the committee also proposes two individuals for president. Members vote at the national conference and select one of the individuals as President.
The nominating committee usually starts its task at the beginning of the calendar year looking towards the election in the spring. Self nominations and nominations may be sent to the President of the PCA/ACA.
